Counted among a race of transformable workers created by the AllSpark for
the purpose of constructing an energy-replenishing harvester device, the
Constructicons combine to form the massive, brutish Devastator. Each
individual robot features both vehicle and robot modes. The EZ Collection
Devastator: G1 Colors Version features the following components:
1x D1 Decepticon Overload: Overload forms Devastator’s lower torso, and
alternately transforms into a red dump truck. Overload’s stocky, claw-appendaged
robot mode bears a passing resemblance to that of the late Bonecrusher,
perpetual core of all disgust and hatred in the universe.
1x D2 Decepticon Mixmaster: Mixmaster forms the head of Devastator. He
otherwise serves the Decepticon cause as a master chemist; Mixmaster is
capable of generating countless poisons, lethal gasses and explosives from
virtually any materials on hand, and he sees to other items such as warheads
and venom-coated blades on behalf of his fellow miscreants.
1x D3 Decepticon Rampage: Rampage forms Devastator’s left leg. Bearing the
scars of countless violent battles, Rampage honors his auspicious namesake
by fixating on the complete destruction of all Autobot foes. Charging
mercilessly into each engagement, Rampage bludgeons his adversaries with his
jackhammers and slashes them apart with his shard-embedded treads.
1x D4 Scavenger: Scavenger forms a portion of Devastator’s torso.
Transforming into a hydraulic mining excavator, Scavenger’s design is fairly
well identical to that of Demolishor; he is sometimes unsurprisingly
mistaken for Demolishor. He’ll kill you if you make that mistake.
1x D5 Scrapper: Scrapper forms Devastator’s right arm, and alternately
transforms into a front load shovel. Scrapper joined Long Haul, Rampage and
Mixmaster in a venture to reclaim Megatron’s remains from the bottom of the
ocean after which they successfully resuscitated the Decepticon leader.
1x D6 Long Haul: Long Haul forms Devastator’s right leg. Though he would
prefer to be a munitions transport, Long Haul is frequently forced to
transport other Decepticons’ equipment and effects, which does at least
provide him with the opportunity to purposely hit corners too sharply and
“accidentally” lose portions of his load.
1x D7 High Tower: Hightower forms Devastator’s left arm, and alternately
transforms into a truss crane. When Hightower is able to disentangle himself
from his fellow Constructicons, he heads for the nearest bar, commiserating
with his former fellow cadets, Tackleberry, Hooks and Mahoney, to relive his
